Release Date: May 1, 2012
WOW!!!! The book cover just keep getting better for this series! Here's the first one:
Little Side Note here: Divergent means, "different from something else", Insurgent means,"someone who rebels against authority or leadership." Appropriate titles, huh?!
I love the colors on Insurgent better than Divergent too. And I'm guessing that Insurgent is dealing with Amity (the peaceful) because of the tree on the cover (the tree is Amity's symbol). And I know I'm really early with this cover conversation but I wanted to do it before Insurgent was released. :) If Ms. Roth gets 35,000 pre-orders she is releasing another book from Tobias's (Four's) perspective! *NOTE: I have no idea what is in this book! I do not know if it is clean or not!*
Those *are* awesome covers! Very cool, and attention grabbing. Hey, I was just wondering what those words meant, and you told me. That's awesome ~ thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour welcome! I thought the meaning were pretty cool. :)
ReplyDeleteThey remind me a little of the Hunger Games and the whole Mockinjay thing. I heard this book is good though. A lot of people are reading it.

Cool post! I definitely agree with you about Insurgent being even better than Divergent's cover, though it's definitely nice too. Love the colors and the design. To be honest, I like these covers a lot better than the UK versions I've been seeing around! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like both covers but I have to say I like the cover of Divergent better! I guess it's because the flames are so vibrant on the Divergent cover. I do like the mysterious looking haze over the city on the Insurgent cover - very intriguing! I can't wait to read it!
ReplyDeleteI love the covers! They're both on my Kindle, but I kinda want to buy them just for the covers, lol.
ReplyDeleteI love both of these covers. I like that there is actual meaning behind them instead of just being "easy on the eyes" so to speak. While I am reading, I like to get little bits and pieces that make me say "Oh, thats what that meant on the cover". Makes a book even more special
ReplyDeleteLove the mix of green color!
ReplyDeleteI love them! E!! EE!
