The Hobbit movie!!! :)

THE HOBBIT!!!

Release Date: December 14, 2012

Are you guys as excited as I am for The Hobbit movie? Well, Part 1 anyway. What do you thinks about The Hobbit being 3 movies instead of just 1? I'm a little wary about them drawing it out for 3 movies. I mean, I would rather watch a 3 hour long movie that's FANTASTIC than watch a short movie that's just being drug out. But I'm still excited to see it! :-) And now onto the cast. Most of the names (okay all of the names) I don't know who they are except for Hugo Weaving and Elijah Wood but it'll be super nice to get some fresh faces up on the screen don't you think? :-)

I'm super PUMPED for this movie to come out!

Also, you need to check out this website for more info:

 http://the-hobbit-movie.com/

And watch the movie trailer:

I took the name generator on that website above and I was:

Your Hobbit Name is Primula Grubb. Grubb, hobbits of the Shire. The name is related to the verb 'grub', meaning to dig or root around.

You share your Christian name Primula, with a Primula (Brandybuck) Baggins: (2920–2980) was a daughter of Gorbadoc Brandybuck, Master of Buckland, and Mirabella Took, the youngest daughter of the Old Took. She married Drogo Baggins, and had one child, Frodo. In 2980, both she and Drogo drowned in the Baranduin, leaving Frodo orphaned.

I'm not sure whether I should be happy I was named after the mother of the saviour of MiddleEarth, or if I should disappointed that they say I was named after someone who drowned.

Have a good one! :)

Movie Monday?

Well, I'm talking about a movie today.... I'm not reviewing one, but I am talking about one. :) I added The Hunger Games to my circle on Google + and the other day they posted a picture that I found quite appropriate. Here it is:

(also, add The Hunger Game to your circle on google +! https://plus.google.com/u/0/+TheHungerGamesMovies/posts You can also add me too! https://plus.google.com/u/0/103075457530172934719/posts)

So I was looking at the picture and I was like, "That is so appropriate!" I love knowing that they're working on the Catching Fire movie and knowing who's playing who.

Can't wait for Catching Fire to release!!! :D

movie monday--Brave

It's been a while but I have another Movie Monday! This one is about Brave the new animated movie.

BRAVE

Release Date: June 22, 2012

Movie Rating: PG for scary images and some crude humor (not official movie rating)

My Rating: @@@@@

My Review:

I never understood why teens nowadays don't admit that they watch animated movies because they're afraid they won't be 'cool'. I'll admit it, "I LOVE ANIMATED MOVIES!!!" I've watched a lot of animated movies that are so much better than real life movies. And Brave is no exception! It was such a good movie! It showed how talking and listening to your family members is a good thing, and that sometimes compromise is a good thing. It also showed that you can't change people how you think they should be changed. It was a really good movie don't miss it! If you not to 'cool' to watch animation..... But hurry because it probably leaves the theater soon! I really really enjoyed this movie the only thing I wished for was some romance and  I really want a sequel!! :D

OMG! Catching Fire's movie poster release.....

I was scanning the internet when I came upon a really awesome poster. What was the poster? It was the one (so far) and only: CATCHING FIRE MOVIE POSTER!!!! :O  And let me tell you....it looks fabulous! Check it out for yourself (just keep scrolling):

Isn't it just breath taking? And I love the way they showed the fire burning off the wedding dress and revealing the mockingjay dress underneath. :) And I think it's even better than The Hunger Games movie poster.

Oh, don't forget (like I would ever let you....) that Catching Fire's movie release date is: November 22, 2013

MMM!

MIRROR MIRROR MOVIE

Official Movie Rating: PG
My Rating: @@@@@
Official Release Date: March 16, 2012 (?)

Oh My GOSH! This movie was so super good! It made me love the fairy tale story of Snow White. (a fairy tale story I have previously hated!) All the actors and actresses did their parts really well, but the actress that was probably the best was Julia Roberts, the evil queen/wicked stepmother. Even though you're supposed to hate her it was impossible. :P The dwarves were funny although Half Pint (?) was kind of creepy (in a funny way, of course). This is a movie that was wonderful for the whole family. No swearing, no inappropriate scenes, nothing. Just good clean use of time and movie film. BUT hurry and catch it quick because it's soon to leave the theaters and then you'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD! Which can take months..... :O

The Avengers movie review!

THE AVENGERS

Release Date: May 4, 2012
Movie Rating: PG-13
My Rating: @@@@@

OMG omg omg omg! This movie was Radical!!! Seriously, if you haven't seen it you need to. Like right now. : ) It was non-stop action from beginning to end and if you go watch it be sure to stay for about 5 minutes after it ends because there's a sneak peek to prepare for THE AVENGERS 2!!!! :O My life is complete now. I have no idea who was my favorite super hero. I liked them all. If I was superhero (ha ha) I would probably be a cross between IronMan and Hawkeye. Some people just have too strict a view on life, so I would be the snarky, sarcastic Tony Stark-like comedian complete with Hawkeye's super-cool Bow and Arrows. : ) Have you seen the movie? Did you like it?

The Avengers!

Movie notice of this week? The Avengers! Coolio! My whole family has been waiting months for this movie to come out! But because we didn't buy tickets it'll probably be sold out. :( So we won't be able to go see it until a week later. It comes out May 4th. And looks totally awesome! Are you going to see it?

Movie Rating: PG-13
Release Date: May 4, 2012

Oh. My. Gosh.

So, it's movie Monday and the movie that the whole world has been in an uproar to see was released March 23. Can you guess what it was? THE HUNGER GAMES!!!! I'm one of those lucky people that has awesome parents and they took me to see it the day it was released and here is my Movie Monday review.

The Hunger Games Movie Review

Movie Rating: PG-13 for violence gore and some language
Book Rating: 5/5 stars (if i could give this movie over 5 stars i would!)

My Review:
WOW! This movie was stupendous! It was AWESOME! When we pulled into the theater I got really nervous because I was the one that had talked my whole family into going to see this movie so if it was really super bad I was going to feel responsible for them throwing their $50 away to go watch this movie. That wasn't going to happen. This movie kicked butt! It is the bestest movie they have made based on a book. (except maybe The Lord of the Rings) For all you Gamians (big hunger games fans) that are scared about Hollywood ruining the movie don't worry about it. You will not be disappointed! There were some little itty-bitty differences but they were necessary changes. Effie Trinket played her part to perfection! She was just as I pictured her in the book. Same with Katniss, Gale, and Peeta. Actually, everyone in the movie was just as I pictured them! So my praisings are over (for now) and I can't wait for Catching Fire (November 22, 2013!)

Happy Hunger Games and May the Odds be Ever in Your Favor!

*Little Side Note here: The Hunger Games movie made #1 in the Top 10 Box Office Hits with a whopping $155 Million Dollars! (not surprised; people were lining up out in the parking lot at my theater to get inside to watch it)*

This Friday! :O

I know you've heard this a lot from me, but all you Hunger Games fans will understand that enough is just never enough. :) Anyway, the movie of notice that comes out this Friday is *gasps in excitement* THE HUNGER GAMES!!! *Duh-duhn-duh-da* Wooo-hoooo! :D :D :D :D :D  Tickets started selling February 20th (i think) and they just haven't stopped. Fascinating Fact: When The Hunger Games tickets went on sale February 20th it not only hit (and I think it beat) Twilight's record sales but also made 85% of the day's profits! How cool is that? So the theaters will probably be sold out for a couple of days. (I'm jealous of all you lucky people who already got your tickets...) So I probably won't be giving review on The Hunger Games movie until at least a week after it comes out. :( But I didn't want you guys to forget. :) So just a reminder, at 11 o'clock Thursday night they are releasing The Hunger Games movies in theaters. Don't miss it! The book was stupendous and the I'm pretty sure the movie will be too! :D Keep a watch on the countdown on the tab Everything HG on my blog. It has it down to the exact minute! hehehe (Comment below if you're a Hunger Games fan-I call them Gamians-you won't win anything but I'm just curious!)

Hunger Games Exclusive!

I was perusing YouTube for anything Hunger Games :) and I found this little clip only 39 seconds long of one of my favorite scenes in the book! Check it out!

Didn't Seneca Crane (the guy with the weird looking beard) look so mad?! I <3 this part! :P Movie comes out March 23, 2012! It's not that far away! :D

***Don't forget to enter to win Replication: The Jason Experiment Here--http://themaniacalbookworm.blogspot.com/2012/03/jill-williamson-author-of-replication.html***

The Lorax.

What came out Friday, March 2? The Lorax, of course! So my Dad (who had a hole burning in his Fandango gift card) took us to see The Lorax and here's my review:

Movie Rating: G

My Rating: 1/5 stars

Starring: Danny DeVito (sp), Taylor Swift, Zac Efron

Although this movie had a few good parts it was really just the government trying to brainwash people into thinking that Big Corporations are bad people that cut down trees. And how we should "Save the trees" Don't get me wrong, I'm not against not cutting down trees I don't like seeing tons of trees cut down but one or two is fine. But I certainly don't see most of these Big Corporations as people who are destroying the earth. The Lorax was Hollywood's (who also is a Big Corporation) way of turning the Little Kids of America into Little Greenie-Wienies of America. This movie did have some cute parts but the stuff I mentioned above and the all the singing (really, it was almost a musical) bugged me.

Movie Monday!

Movies I would <3 to see (as long as they're clean):

• THE HUNGER GAMES!!!!! March 23, 2012 (24 days, 10 hours, and 51 minutes left!) :) :) :)
• A Thousand Words---March 23,2012
• Men in Black III---May (?)
• The Avengers---May 4, 2012
• The Dark Knight Rises--June (?)
• Snow White and the Huntsman---June 22, 2012
• G.I. Joe: Retaliation---June or July (?)
• The Hobbit---December

I'm so sorry about all the question marks guys! It's so difficult to remember when they come out. But those are the approximate dates/months. Check out the movie trailers because they are AWESOME!!! (no i did't put them on the blog. people with dial-up hate me....;)

Movie Monday!!!

Friday's movie release. (that I hopefully will be going to see...:) Friday, February 10th, the new movie coming out into theaters is.....(drum roll, please).....Journey 2.....(confetti is now falling from the sky)! YAY! I thought the movie trailer was super funny and Journey 2 is directed by the same people who directed Journey to the Center of the Earth and I loved that movie! :) Louis Guzman, Dwayne Johnson, Josh Hutcherson, and Vannessa Hudgens are the main actors in Journey 2. Check out the awesome movie trailer on youtube or IMDb and comment below to tell me that you are going. I just want to know that I'm not the only one looking forward to this movie (and us blogger <3 comments)! :D

Monday Movie? Chipwrecked!

Are you a Chipmuncks Fan?! I am! My woderful loving mom took me, my brother, and my BFF to see Chipwrecked. (THX Mom!) It was really good! I love listening to their songs. They're soo cute. After watching the movies yesterday there are quite a few songs going on my Ipod because they were sooo good! If you are a 'Munks (or Chippettes) fan you certainly don't want to miss this movie! The only thing I didn't like was the 'Munks always got interruppted when they were singing. :( (So I put two of my favorite songs on below--the full versions)

Movie Rating: G (no swearing or violence at all)
My Rating: @@@@

Don't miss the 'Munks and 'Pettes! You'll regret it! :D
