HAPPY 4TH of JULY!!!

Well, it's the fourth (or almost the 4th or after the 4th, depending on when you read this)! I'm imagining fireworks being lighted, shooting up into the sky, and going off with a bang and a flash of color. Of course, I can only imagine this because we'd be fined for lighting fireworks in the drought that's going on right now where I live. :( I just wanted to show you guys a little taste of the documents that made The United States of America:



Preamble to the U.S. Constitution:
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of 
America.

Part of the Declaration of Independence:
       When in course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.—That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,--That whenever any form of Government, becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute a new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, that to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce 
them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.—Such has been he patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.

Funny Fact:
The American army, when fighting the British, went into battle whistling “Yankee Doodle.” When the British retreated from Concord, General Gage (for the British) yelled out, “I HOPE I NEVER HEAR THAT TUNE AGAIN!!!” Unfortunately for him, after the British's defeat at Yorktown, an American Band accompanied the British off the field at Yorktown, playing……YANKEE DOODLE!

Happy Fourth of July, you guys! And no matter how bad it gets just remember that The United States of America was built to worship God, so stand up for what you believe in! No matter what people say or do to you stand up for what you believe in! GOD BLESS AMERICA!

   Valentine's Day encourages love. Love of all types exist. Love between a husband and wife, mothers and father and their children, and the list goes on. But when I consider just how much I cherish and love my family, I'm humbly reminded about God's love for mankind.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ~ John 3:16

This is probably one of the most well-known verses in the Bible ~ and it should be. As a mother that spends every minute of every day with her children, it tears me up to even consider giving one of my children up to pay someone else's sin debt. Yeah. Right. Ain't going to happen. I'm selfish that way, I suppose...

Praise God I don't have to though. He's already done it so I can either accept His gift of eternal life, or I can go along my own little merry way.

The other night, a friend of ours loaned us his copy of the movie Courageous and it inspired me to write this post. Why? Because God can use any medium to reach someone's heart for Him. After watching, (and bawling through) this funny, heart-warming, faith-affirming, heart-breaking movie, I want to be even more dedicated to Him. In everything I do.

Hope in 2012?

     Is there Hope in 2012? I know just about everyone has heard that the end of the world is December 2012. Right. If you haven't heard about it let me clue you in. Centuries ago the Mayan Indians 'prophesied' that the end of the world would occur in the year two thousand and twelve. This year. Alot of people are freaking out about it. How is the the world going to end? Will anyone survive? What will happen after the world ends? Stuff like that. Alot of people are freaking out because they don't want to die. Why are they freaking out? Answer: They don't have peace.  Do you have peace? If  not I can show you how to get peace. You need God. He is the only one who can give you eternal peace. I know what you're thinking. "There she goes. Preaching at me." or "I'm a good person I don't have to get saved because I haven't done anything wrong." or "I'll get saved when I'm old. No reason to get saved now only old people die."
God doesn't judge you according to your works and LOTS of people die before the age of 20 and I'm not preaching at you I'm warning you because I care about you. Here's how to have peace for EVER! 


John 3:16--For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(everlasting life! You'll live FOREVER! How cool is that?)

Romans 3:23--For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

(Everyone's sinned and NO ONE is good enough to get to Heaven without Him)

Romans 6:23--For the wages of sin is Death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(If you're not saved you are going to Die. And go to a pit of fire and brimstone to burn forever)

Romans 5:8--But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

(Even though we have sinned against him, God still loves us and he will still save us.)

Romans 10:9-10&13-- That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Just believe and ask Him to save you! He'll do it, if you believe!)

Revelation 22:20--He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

(He is coming. Are you ready?)
